facebook birthday calendar

hi, I'm trying to import the facebook calendar...

microsoft outlook and windows mail both can import the calendar (I get the ical link from facebook), but the gadget return an error...

this is because the link is a php link... is there a plan to add support for this kind of links?

Hello, a small gift for a new year - the facebook birthday calendar is officialy supported now :-) Although the birthday calendar works properly you may experience some issues:

1. If I try to export other then birthday events from Facebook, I'll receive empty ics file = possibely it's a bug in Facebook, but if you have different experience, let me know
2. Facebook doesn't care about timezones so I've made some overrides for this calendar. Please let me know, if you have any issues with dates of birhtdays.

Thanks, happy new year! :-)

yeah, the first issue happens with all calendar software, it can be a
facebook bug.

nice release btw!

facebook give you a link like : webcal://www.facebook.com/ical/b.php?uid=... the problem is the protocol "webcal"

Solution only change "webcal" by "http", and work fine.

http://www.facebook.com/ical/b.php?uid=...

You're right, the word webcal is the problem... The gadget should replace webcal with http automatically but if it does not I suggest to replace it manually...
