Change my calendar skin.

Apr 1, 2010 at 3:11 AM

Maybe I am not finding the "how to" about this, but I really like the pink or other than gray skin for my calendar.  So how do I change that?? Please do tell in easy computer terms.  Otherwise I love the gadget. Thanks

Angie, there isn't necessarily a Pink skin. But, here's how you'd get it pink (like the website shows).

  1. Assuming you have Windows 7 (which this gadget is designed for), then Right-Click a blank area of your desktop ==> "Personalize"
  2. Click "Window Color" at the bottom
  3. Set your color to Pink and click [Save Changes] and close the Personalize window
  4. Now, find your "Windows Live Calendar Gadget", click the 'wrench' icon (for Options)
  5. Change "Skin" dropdown to "aero", and click [OK]
  6. Now, your calendar should be the same color as the rest of your computer (pink, or whatever color you chose)

Thats it!

Hi, I'm afraid the tutorial is not available. However, the gadget is basicaly a simple html + CSS web page. If you had an experience that and still want to creat a new sking, I could give you a walkthrough
