Release Notes

This is a first alpha release of the gagdet. The gadget can be docked or undocked and can display a detail of an event. It's fully skinable but there is only one skin available yet. The gadget manages his own cache so your calendar will be available offline too.

To start open the settings and type a link of your calendar in ical format. The gagdet is developed primary for usage with Windows Live Calendar but it should be capable to work with any calendar in ical format (Google calendar for example).

If you want to display your Windows Live Calendar, you have to get a hypertext link of your calendar in ical format. You have to go to settings of the calendar on the webpage and set the sharing. Then you have to click on the hypertext link for the ics format and the displayed link is your point (for more information see the documentation http://wlcalendargadget.codeplex.com/documentation).

excellent thing, cant wait for more skins and after reading a disheartening post in discussion and finding out we probably wont get 'add event from gadget' feature, I still really like this product!

Exactly what I needed to compliment my fresh Win7 desktop. It's slick, functional and easy to use. The only thing I would change is having the time added under the appointment list for quick reference. Thanks!
